Arunta Lithium Projects

The Barrow Creek and Spotted Wonder projects are in the Northern Arunta pegmatite province, which contains many pegmatite fields and is prospective for lithium.

Tin and tantalum production from pegmatites in the Barrow Creek project suggest lithium potential, supported by the presence of spodumene nearby in the Anningie Pegmatite field. The Barrow Creek Project contains some of the largest pegmatites in Northern Arunta pegmatite province.

Moonlight Project
URANIUM &  RARE EARTH ELEMENTS POTENTIAL AT MOONLIGHT PROJECT

The Moonlight prospect area is located approximately 200 km northeast of Alice Springs within the Harts Range Pegmatite Field located on the eastern side of the Entia Dome.

Previous work at the Moonlight prospect identified high levels of uranium (up to 0.91%) along with variable amounts rare earth elements of yttrium (up to 2.9%), niobium (up to 4.0%), tantalum (up to 0.36%) and titanium.

Detailed geological mapping and extensive geochemistry programs are set to commence at the Moonlight prospect in April 2024 to further enhance portfolio value.

Uranium and Rare Earth elements potential at moonlight project

  • Located approximately 200 km northeast of Alice Springs.
  • Numerous historic mica workings and outcropping pegmatites untested for lithium, uranium and rare earth elements (REE)
  • Reconnaissance rock chip sampling successfully identified:

    • high levels of uranium (up to 0.91%)
    • high REE amounts of yttrium (up to 2.9%), niobium (up to 4.0%),
      tantalum (up to 0.36%)
      and titanium
